Bollywood Stars restrict Social Media activity amidst snowballing Nepotism debate

Social Media is fluttering with high-octane debate and emotional waves after the untimely death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Bollywood stars are now restricting their social media interactions apparently to stay away from the negativity.

Everyone has mourned the loss of the actor. However, much of the sadness is turning out into anger as well. As a result, netizens are slamming Bollywood celebrities for a variety of reasons.

The entire debate is now hovering around the treatment of outsiders in the film industry. Nepotism and many other things are now in the limelight like never before.

For obvious reasons, Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt, have been receiving regular flak on social media. The two have responded to the online trolls and slamming by restricting comments for their accounts on Instagram. Kareena Kapoor Khan has also joined these two by limiting individuals who can comment on the posts.

Several Bollywood actors are now openly talking about their survival and struggle stories. Sushmita Sen conducted a Q&A on Twitter recently and answered some queries of her fans. Her reply to nepotism and survival is winning everyone’s hearts. The actress said that she survived nepotism by focusing on her fans. Sushmita also added that she would continue to entertain them as long as they wanted to see her.

Sushant’s fans have gone ahead by taking matters on their hands even as the Police are investigating the case. They have called out Bollywood stars in connection with the death case of Sushant for backing nepotism.  In the ongoing drama, many celebrities have decided to even quit Twitter for escaping the online negativity. From Sonakshi Sinha to Aayush Sharma, the list is growing every day. Speculation is rife among fans that Sonakshi decided to quit due to trolls that slammed her for sharing a post on late actor Sushant.
